Ok, it's been a while since my last post. Lets see, what has happened since the engagement party??
On the 24th Nov I went to the Scrapapple Xmas Party with Scrapping Linda. That was a fun night of some make and takes. And a goodie bag to take home. I have so much fun doing scrappy things with Linda!!
We got together on the 2nd for Jamies birthday. Will have to insert some photos here!!!

On the 7th we had my work xmas dinner. Can you believe I didn't take a camera!! It was a very hot day and I put it down to the heat for letting it slip my mind. Anyway a great night was had by all at Hogs Breath.
Mike and I were going to go to the Christmas Carols on the 8th, but it rained the night before, so we decided to give it a miss.
Last Friday night Mum and Dad brought in Darian and Zack to see Santa in Myer. What a interesting night. Firstly we took the ferry over to the city. The kids love the ferry!! And this year Grandad took Zack upstairs to the top deck. When we got into the city, we saw the xmas tree in it's new place in front of the casino. then on to the myer window display where they didn't have anything xmassy, instead it was themed in a kids book. Still the kids loved it with all the wacky creatures from the book coming to life. Then onto Santas village, where we went to get in line to see santa. Well, this is when the drama started. The santa line was closed off. Apparently at 6:30, santa could no longer see anyone because he had to leave at 8. Are they kidding themseleves?? there were so many angry parents. All santas helper could tell us was that the kids could go on the train. and that they might be able to see santa at djs. I am so angry at myer. Obviously they are going to be busy, so you would think that they would be able to cater for this problem. Heres one idea, given that the santa at Myers is behind closed doors, maybe have more than one santa in different rooms!!! The kids would never know the difference!!! I hate to think of who they have in chage of their marketing department, becasue they are obviously getting paid way too much money for what their brain cells can do!!!
So anyway, then the kids went on the train. How crappy was that. It only went around a very small track twice. i didn't even get enough time to be in a good spot to get a good photo. And becasuse noone could line up for santa, the line up for the train was very long so the kids couldn't even line up for another go!! Myer sucks!!
So after that we headed down to djs. On the way the show in the mall was about to start so we stopped to watch. Wow. It was an acrobat show and they were amazing. Then off to djs again where we found the worlds youngest santa. Also the quietest. I couldn't hear him speak. Apparently he talked to the kids, but I was only a metre away and i couldn't hear a thing!! I like the loud cheery santas so much more!!!
Then we walked across the bridge to Southbank for dinner. The kids had some cold rock ice cream, and wow they chose some gross stuff. Both wanted the bubblegum ice cream that was bright blue. Zack chose nerds to go in his, and Darian chose freckles. It looked so sickly sweet! But they seemed to like it!!
