wow 4 months!

Thats just way too long between posts. Not sure how to even catch up. Don't think I will all at once. Think I might just post some random ramblings and see where it takes me.

I was blog surfing the other day and came across this great blog of "the list". I can't remember where I was, but the first list to make was the 'top 5 tv couples you couldn't wait to get together''. This really got me going and this is my top 5:

This is for you Thelma

Yes I know it has been a long time between posts. Things have just been busy busy busy. Even tho Mike and I have been on holidays for the past 3 weeks, life has still been crazy!! But back to getting up to date. Firstly Happy Birthday to Cheryl! We had a nice family dinner with Mikes family, and even got to meet Joshs new girlfriend (isn't he too young for that!!)!! And last night we took her out for the dinner and show at Jupiters. It was Irish Dancing and was really good.

Mike and I were home the day the dust storm hit town, and Mike took this photo from our front yard. We were cleaning up the house inside and out for the next week!

Mike took me on a little day trip down to Clevland to see the set of the new Naria movie they are filming. The day we went, they were starting to pack everything up as they had finished filming the day before. The ship was huge and very detailed. You couldn't go up to the ship, but the fence was only about 20m away from it, so you could still see a lot. We had a nice lunch right by it at the Lighthouse. It was so windy tho that most of the outsides seats were wet from the water crashing in on the rocks.

We had the kids stay over for their first official day of school holidays. They were so much fun. I took them to the park for a play, and we took them to Scallywags for the afternoon.

And it has been that long since I have posted, that I missed posting my little playmates 8th birthday!! It was over a month ago now!! Happy Birthday Darian!!

And I just wanted to post this photo of my 2 little playmates. I just adore it about as much as I adore them!!

An update

Well it has been quite a well since i have made an update, and thats because life has just been busy busy busy.

First I want to wish my brother a very happy 40th birthday.

I also wanted to sat a big congrats to my friends Elice and Jo who have both had beautiful baby girls. And to Jodi and Ang who are both expecting!! Must be something in the water!!

And Friday night I went to the So You Think You Can Dance Concert and wow wow wow. I loved it. Here are a couple of snaps I got on the night.

Hopefully this link works to my all time favourite routine of the season, which they danced second last to on the night. Love it!!!

Finally an update

Hi, yes I know it's taken me forever to write a post, but i have had other very important things to do, like unpack and scrap! Ok, well I will never be able to catch up on all the things that have happened in the past few months, so I will just start a fresh with whats happened lately. Last Sunday Mike and I went on a cruise of the Brisbane River with his Mum and Thelma. Lucky Thelma had won the tickets so it didn't cost us a cent!! It was great - until we hit the fertalizer factory!! What a smell!!

And I love this photo I took of Mike under the ferris wheel at Southbank while we waited to board the boat.

And just for Jen, this is my new scrap room. Now I know it's still messy, but i am taking my time organising where i want everything. Soon it will be the best room in the house, just don't tell Mike!

Thats all for now. Off to the hunt tomorrow with the Kids, so should be back with some good photos then!

Almost there

Well, our house is almost finished. We still don't have a date yet, but when we went and had a look on the weekend, the only thing they have left to finish is a little bit of the fence on each side. When we looked in the windows, there are thousands of little red sticker dots everywhere, which means that they will be in to fix all the little problems soon!! And I have to say that some of this red dots where is parts that it doens't look like anything is wrong, which I take as a good thing as he seemed to be very thorugh!!

So Hopefully this all means, that it won't be long and I will be able to post some real posts with photos and everything!!

Moving Day

Ok Jen, I know I need to update, but today is moving day so this is just a quick one. I have been very busy in the last couple of weeks packing to move and buying our new house. Will update soon with all the details plus whats been going on!!
